Tips for staying in the Dordogne

In a little village near Belves. By car Cahors is 45 minutes (Belves is north-west of Cahors between Cahors and Perigueux). in the domaine Cournet Haut with several houses. Each of the houses – comfortable, very private and restful- has a living room with kitchen or kitchnette, bathroom or shower room, separate toilets and a private terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. Each house is equipped with direct-line telephones, dishwasher and oven. There is shaded parking in the grounds of the domaine. Facilities on site are a large swimming pool with jet-stream, a tennis court (floodlit after dark), mountain bikes (child seats available), table tennis, climbing frames, slide and sandpit; communal lounge with library, board games and TV set. On site laundry with washing machine and tumble drier.

The owners are speaking english and can give all details and routes. In the neigbourhood are colourful markets. Opportunities for local outings: rambling. cycling, canoeing, riding and light aircraft trips from Domme.
